Remington Federal Credit Union FCU was chartered in 1933. It is a not for profit financial institution owned and controlled by the members and is operated for your benefit through a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Board of Directors is the policy making and governing body of the Credit Union.

The field of membership shall be limited to those having the following common bonds:
  1. Employees of the Remington Arms Company who work in Ilion, New York;
  2. Members of the Ilion Fish and Game Club or the Ilion Lodge No.1010 of the Loyal Order of Moose in Ilion, New York;
  3. Members of the East Herkimer Fish & Game Club, in Herkimer, New York;
  4. Employees of the National Insulation Company who work in Mohawk, New York;
  5. Employees of AAR Circamet Coating Technology, Inc. who work in Frankfort, New York;
  6. Members of the Mohawk Fish and Game Club, Inc. in Mohawk, New York;
  7. Members of the Ilion Volunteer Fire Department in Ilion, New York;
  8. Employees of Martin Green & Sons, Inc. who work in Ilion, New York;
  9. Members of the Sons of the American Legion of Mohawk, Crowley Barnum Squadron #25, in Mohawk, New York;
  10. Members of Knights of Columbus, Herkimer Council No. 579 in Herkimer, New York;

and, also included are spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union, employees of this credit union, persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment, members of their immediate family or household, and organizations of such persons.

How To Join
To join the Credit Union, simply open a share savings account. This is your share in the Credit Union. Deposit and maintain as little as $5.00 in this account and you are immediately eligible for the many benefits of membership.

Once a Member, Always a Member
You are welcome to remain a Credit Union member for life, regardless of whether you change jobs, move, or retire. You will continue to have access to the same benefits and services.
